Q & A

The age old question, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” How many ladies have had or have the answer to that question and always known? As for me I never have I have always been interested in many things never able to narrow it down. The only thing I know for sure is I love to learn about EVERYTHING! Not sure what one can do with that.

    • I’ve known since the age of 5 that I wanted to be a teacher and my dream was fulfilled. I taught children for 32 years and retired 2 1/2 years ago after a very successful career.

Now, I’m loving being a full-time homemaker pursuing my dreams one day at a time!

    • I’m the same as you Chris! I am interested in so many things that I can’t narrow it down.

Certainly, I never would have dreamed when I was a child that I would do some of the things I’ve done for a living.

I used to envy people who always knew what they wanted to do and then pursued it.  Not anymore.  I’ve had a lot of fun and have such diverse experiences, I wouldn’t trade that for the world!

    • I wanted to pursue theatrical dance...we were very poor, and there was no money for dance lessons when I was at the appropriate age for it, but it was always a dream.

Needless to say, I did strut my stuff during the disco era which made up for it.happy

    • I think i bounced around alot form think to thing, I love learning all kinds of new things too, and of course with my adhd, i get bored so easy still. But when i was young, my idol was my childhood doctor, and i think i have always been intersted in medicine, I went like four yrs ago and got my Cna, but i would love to go into nursing, I just allways find a reason not to go back to school. But i am so glad i do what i do, i have learned so much from the residents, and it has changed me for the better.
