I am scheduled to have a uterine ablation in a couple of weeks. I read the literture and discussed everything with my GYN. One of my co-workers had this done a few months ago and she was pleased with the results. Of course, I have googled it and it seems like some women have had horrible experiences. Lots of pain and some have taken up to a year to feel “normal“. So now I am really nervous about it. It also mentions rare side effects such as pulmonary embolisms and edema. Yikes! Anyone here had this done or know of someone who has? I have 2 weeks to back out if necessary. Thanks!
I just read webmd’s site about the procedure and it seems as if the good outweighs the bad. I wish I knew someone directly who has had it done so I could ask and share their experience with you. Whatever you decide, I wish you all the best
I know a couple gals who’ve had this done, and they both had nothing but good to say about it.
