    • Thank God...I don’t have any Valentine’s Day experiences.  Well..now that I think of it...I do.  When I was in college I worked for a local florist delvering flowers on Valentine’s Day.  It was a day from hell.  I have never delivered so many flowers in all of my life.  I had car trouble that day...no one from the florist came to help me.  And at the end of the day/evening...when I had delivered the last arrangement and came back to the florist...they had all gone home..and had closed up.  No one even checked to make sure I made it back safely.  What they paid me did not even begin to warrant what I did that day nor was it enough for my gas.  I will never deliver flowers for anyone ever again.heartbreak

    • As I recall I had rotator cuff surgery on my shoulder on Valentine’s day.  That must have  been ten years ago.

My grandmother passed away the day after valentine’s day.

My ex gave me roses one year on V- day, because he’d stayed out till 3 am the night before.  I gave the roses away.

    • My sister who came to visit for a month was dragging her stuff through the door at the moment I was posting this question. She was only here one week. I realize I made a mistake 2 days after she arrived....I conclude that she has a chronic compulsive disorder.....I am not well and she adds to the stress of recovering...She said she was here to help me get well and she did nothing to assist....I made a big leap in my recovery since she left...My home is now stress freeestatic

    • For years Valentines Day is remembered in our house as the day before mum remembers her mum dieing.  The day before I go and light a candle for nan in a church and talk to her.  Well yes I was thinking that this year but also by pure luck the married man I am having a thing with is also a mechanic very useful when my car stops working.  Well it had a strange noise and he had said he would pop over and take a look well it was also the evening when usually me and mum are at a meeting I had decided not to go so dad dropped her off and my friend arrived.  Dad went to collect her later and so he and I had 10 minutes all to ourselves so ten minutes of kissing and having a serious conversation about us and then as they got back he went so for once my Valentines Day was perfect especially when he said you know what your kisses are getting better and better.  Then thanked me for a nice Valentines Day.  How sweet was that.
