How often and for how long should you exercise in a week? Is it best to exercise before or after you eat or it doesn’t matter?

    • I used to exercise for 30 minutes daily in the evening, but lately I’ve been lazy and exercise just 3-4 times a week. I find that for me it’s best to exercise before I eat because after dinner I just don’t feel like it and want to relax.

    • Most importantly, Neicy, is to find the time and circumstances with exercise that work for you. Some like to eat a little before,some prefer to work out on an empty stomach. Some have more energy in the early part of the day and some like to exercise as a stress reliever after the work day. Finding something that will prompt you to be consistent is the most important factor. I applaud you, my friend.heart

    • Three to four times a week is SO good!  I’m trying to get your determination, and will power.  What do you do for exercise?  I know it’s so important, but every time I start, I end up getting lazy and quitting.  Maybe we should start a support group?

    • I would think its good to exercise maybe an hour after you ate, that way your not working out on a full stomach but yet your also working off the calories you did eat. Or if you don’t want to eat before, at least eat a banana or some kind of fruit so you don’t pass out or something.

      When I did work out, it was 3 xs a week to start out. You shouldn’t over due it. But it’s how you feel is better for you. Work out at your own pace and have fun happy
