    • My sister did some bad stuff to me some years back. I decided that I needed to face her today and told her why I stayed away for so many years. I embrased her and felt all the weight fall from our shoulders. I dont want to miss another moment of my neice journey as she grows up because of our differences. This is a new season for us.

    • I really ponder this question before I answered. I agree with Maryclark in that forgiveness is for the person forgiving and not so much for the one forgiven. I have experienced forgiveness many times. Living in today’s world we are constantly called upon to forgive others. Yet the hardest things is really letting it go to the point it no longer bothers you.

    • Yes, I have expreienced true forgiveness.  The forgiveness was for me and it s ure felt good.  A very good friend of mines husband told a lie on me and I was infuriated to say the least and to add insult to the injury in my mind the wife, my friend believed.

I took a step back and said you know it is her husband and she will stick with him.  About 1 year later I sat and wrote her a letter  letting her know I forgive her and her husband.  I have moved on and it feels good.
