    • I went to my 25 year reunion and it was amusing to say the least.  It was an experience... here’s how it went .. all the popular girls in school still hung together...You can tell who all the girls were (all recognizable) and in good shape.  Later I heard from some friends the people who had gained weight did not come.  I had gained weight but I went anyway... LOL... to heck with them if they couldn’t except me for who I am/was.

The guys were mostly unrecognizable. Either they put on a lot of weight or lost their hair...not that they weren’t good looking or handsome just didn’t know it was them.  Thank goodness they wore name tags...except for one who was cuter now than he was then.

Food was good, seeing people from school was fun but it was not what I expected!  It’s definitely an experience though.  I was lucky enough to get to go with one of my good friends since high school who I had promised when we were in high school we’d go together.  LOL

I did really enjoy seeing the people I liked

so much throughout middle school and high school...that part was fun! So all in all, it was a good time.  That’s the long answer.

    • I went to my 20th.  It was about what I expected.  All the “popular” people were there plus a few of us who weren’t as popular.  Lots of people who lived nearby didn’t show up.  It was nice to visit with a few people, but I certainly wouldn’t go to another one.  I didn’t hang with those people in high school and have no interest in doing so now.

    • Thank you for sharing your hs class reunion stories.

As for me I did not get a notice regarding a reunion. I attended high school in Japan w/ military dependents and was not in the popular crowd. We all left to live in other states so it wouldn’t be easy to plan.  I wouldn’t of attended anyway.

    • I went to my 10 & my 25th! It was a blast and I had a great time. Of course, for my 10th I was still slim...then I gained a lot of weight, had some health issues going on, including losing my hair, depressed, etc. But 7 yrs ago, I found nutritional cleansing and was able to attend my 25th, (3yrs) ago still slim, but full of confidence, healthy and happy. So grateful for my better health. I’m looking forward to my 30th! Life just gets better.

    • Yes, I attended my 20th.  It was fabulous and exciting to see friends from high school.  We could all still identify each other.  A real blessing!  It’s the only reunion we’ve had for our particular class!

Plus, I introduced the speaker at the reunion!

    • Yes, I attended my 20th. For me it was horrible. I use to be part of the rebels, the hard core kids, the ones that said we wouldn’t live like our parents, that we were different. Well, we were three (out of the whole bunch that showed up) that didn’t turn out like their parents- and the 2 others were just normal kids back then! I sat there having nothing much to say to them. I can’t say I’m sorry I went, but it did disturb me for a while after. I would never go to a second one.

    • I helped plan the 10 year.  It was fun but a lot of work.  Will never plan another one.

The 20th I didn’t go to due to my mother breaking her ankle and having surgery.  Was I upset that I didn’t go...ummm no.

They had combo reunion two years ago with 3 other classes.  I had no desire to go to an event with other classes of people I did not know.

So....I have not been to one since the one I planned.  I think we have another one coming up soon...I may go.
