Need some ideas. Hubby  and  I  dont  normally do anything more than at home dinner on anniversaries. Thie year had the chance to get a nice in town hotel room for the night. Any ideas how to make it a bit funner and romantic

    • Games and music.... My hubz and I like the monoply card game.

Our anniversary one time coincided with a family illness out of town. So we stayed in a hotel, player our cards, ordered room service and laughed all night. It was the best!

    • First, have a fabulous dinner in the room or dine out. Have the bed covered in rose petals, tray of grapes, cheese, crackers or foods that you enjoy and a favorite beverage, music that both of you love and the 2 of you makes for a romantic evening.

A beautifully wrapped gift in the middle of the bed for him would be quite impressive!

I’ve done the rose-petal covered bed, gifts, chocolates, gigantic card for my hubby for Valentine’s Day and he loved it!

    • Hub and I recently celebrated an overdue Christmas gift that I had given to him (was sick originally and had to re-schedule).  We stayed in a B & B about an hour from us and it was delightful. The room had all the amenities, we went out for dinner, sat on the screened in porch and had cocktails, talked and really had fun.

The bed and breakfast experience to us is one of the best as there are always package deals!  Check one out in your area.happy

    • Great idea Mary! And B&B’s don’t really cost that much either.
