    • My mom NEVER took me to fast food restaurants.  Everything was prepared at home.

    • Very, very rarely.  I can remember one night in 1972, we’d just gotten a brand new Ford and we went to town and went to the then brand new Pizza Hut.  I think it was the first time I’d ever been “out” to eat.  I was 5.

I can remember eating out with Grandpa once at an actual restaurant.  The hamburger came with pickles toothpicked to the top of the bun.  I still eat at that place every once in awhile.  I walk in the door and I think of Gramps.  Funny how the place hasn’t changed very much in almost 40 years.

I would be quite a bit older before I ever saw the inside of a McDonalds or Taco Johns.  I was out of high school before I went to Burger King.

    • Never, my mom was a health food nut and we spent every moment in the hippy run food co-op...that is how I learned about all different types of foods.  I was introduced to bean sprouts and tofu when I was eight years old.happy

    • We did not have fast food resturants in my country when I was growing up.  It is not a regular for me to visit a fast food but last month we were going on the road and stopped at a McDonalds and I was sick to my stomach with the food.  I am not a fan of fast food.

    • Yes, couple of times a month we would go out for fast food, but Asian food was our preference.

    • Fast food when I was a kid was considered a treat. McDonalds was about the only thing around but we rarely went there. My mom cooked everything fresh at home.

    • She brought home yummy food every night.

By age 8,   I was preparing most breakfast for my dad and me; bacon, eggs, gravy and homeade bisuits.
