Q & A

What is the oldest/longest friendship you ever have?
.
.
.
Mine is my buddy since I was 15 and we are still good friends.  Though we live in separate part of the world, we don’t communicate daily, we are heart to heart whenever we talk to each other.

    • That’s so wonderful to have friends that really grow with us.  We went through many life challenges and personally changes, yet we are still loved and understand each other.  That’s true friendships lie.

    • My very best friend and I have known each other since we were 14 or 15.  We volunteer delivering meals to the elderly every Friday, then we have lunch.  My oldest daughter is named for her and she is my youngest daughter’s Godmother.

      Here she is!

    • Isn’t it amazing even though we would be apart for a long time, when we get together with our childhood friends, it’s like nothing is between us, time is not an issue.  I can forever with those friends and it is always warm and sincere.

    • My best friend is Melody. We met in the early 70’s when I lived in Chicago. I moved to California in 1976 and we have maintained our friendship through it all. If we don’t talk we text and email. She is my middle sons Godmother and I am her sons Godmother. She is the only person on earth that knows ALL my secrets! We always joke that we will be old ladies in a nursing home, laughing at our memories!

    • It was my High School sweetheart (the only friend from HS that I stayed in touch with). We remained friends for 33 years until he re-married and became a bit too radical in his thinking.

My next oldest friend is from my 17 years of editorial work. She and I have known each other for more than 20 years. I don’t get to see her very often, but we email and still have a bond.

(my scanner is not hooked up right now so I had to take a pic of my pic! lol!)

This is Jeanette and I in High school. Our teachers used to call us Fric & Frac.

    • My best-est friend has been my best friend since the end of sixth grade.  We joke that we don’t dare break up because we know all each other’s secrets. We talk on the phone at least once a week, more if we have time.

My other best friend started out as my little brother’s girlfriend.  They broke up, but she became my roommate the next year. We’ve been best friends since I turned 19.  I only get to see her every couple years because she lives halfway across the country. frown
