Hello Ladies, how was everyone’s Mother’s Day? How did you spend it and what did you get?
As for me I did work, but when I got off I got all dolled up thanks to my daughter who did my makeup, and we went out to dinner at Benihana's, my hubby had to work he gave me a beautiful bouquet of flowers a card and some cash, My girls gave me cash also and 2 nice hand bags, jewelry, beautiful cards and then the next day we went out to the movies to see "Act Like A Lady Think Like A Man" which was hilariously great!

Didn’t do much. Went to church as usual. Went over to visit my mom in the afternoon. I meant to buy her some chocolate, but ran out of check blanks and had no cash.
My boy sent me a text message wishing me happy mother’s day. That was nice. My daughter who lives nearby brought me flowers to plant on Saturday afternoon.

Glad your Mother’s Day was wonderful, so was mine. My older daughter started the day for me by preparing me a special Mother’s Day breakfast. Hubby gave me money on Sat. and called to wish me a Happy Mother’s Day and the daughters gave me a beautiful black slip, duct tape zebra print billfold, zebra print eyeglass case for my sunglasses and a Rachael Ray cookbook. I love zebra print and my new hobby-cooking! Son called to wish me a Happy Mother’s Day. Daughters & I went to see the same movie as you. This was my final surprise as I’d been saying for a few days that I really wanted to see that movie. I agree Neicy, it really was a great movie! Afterwards, we stopped and picked up some fast food for a late evening meal.
My brother sent me a pretty card and money.

Hi Neicy,
After going to church, I got a 1-hour massage and my hair done on Sunday. We went out to dinner at Red Lobster. My hubby got me a card, my oldest made me a card and some artwork.
The day before, I got a brow wax, French manicure, and a pedicure. Yes, I went ALL out this Mother’s Day but it was partly because I was starting a new job on Monday.

I flew to California and took my mother and sister out to lunch. In fact, I just got home!

Son gave me a beautiful card, but he just started a fitness training job, so we celebrated on his day off this week with lunch.
