My niece is graduating from high school the end of the month. I am very proud of her because for a while it looked like she wouldn’t graduate. She will be going to college to become a teacher this fall.

I guess you could say we are. Every year my husband graduates about 70 kids from his school. It’s a really pretty ceremony. He’s been doing this type of work for 30 years! Wow!
I’ve been to three graduation receptions this weekend, but none for anyone especially close to me. Next month we will be going to Denver to help my cousin who is 50 celbrate her graduation from nurses training. So excited for her.

The invitation came along with an invite to his graduation party. A former student of mine is graduating from high school. He represented his class at my retirement party and pinned the most beautiful corsage on me. He was dressed in his ROTC uniform. He’s such a respectful and nice young man!
