    • I have a family prayer card and a prayer card dedicated to Saint Jude always by my side, it strengthens my faith and lifts me up on sad days.

    • I used to keep a small bible in my purse but I don’t know where it is. My mom wears a St. Christopher medal and a scapular all the time - just in case, she says.

alaska airlines used to give out a prayer card with their meals in first class. The last time I flew first class it wasn’t there and I asked about it. I was told that too many people complained about the prayer cards and they stopped them. Very sad. I used to look forward to my prayer card with my meal and I always saved them.

    • T, a prayer card is usually a laminated card that contains prayers of any kind..prayers to patron saints, blessings, and as Ladyblu mentioned also to memorialize the deceased.  In my recollection, they were usually borne of the Catholic faith, not sure if others use them.

That is very upsetting, Cynthia, that they banned them on flights...suppose the Atheists won’t be happy until all forms of religion (except for what they want) is banned.:(
