What would you do if you had no access to a computer for good? Would it be very difficult for you?
Well without a computer, I would not be able to work since 100% of my job requires a computer. At home, I’m on the computer quite a bit on Facebook and things like that so I would definitely miss it.
I’d get Soooo much done!!! I’d be doing instead of sitting at the computer. I think. But I’d have to go back to paying bills by snail mail and that’d drive me nuts because I despise the post office.

i would have to go to the library. i have gotten use to emails, shopping, banking online, schooling online. and i have had periods where i have been without a computer because it needed fixing. i would find it a great inconvenience. my daughters school wants to make most of her school subjects online only. she would have great difficulties in completing her assignments
I would be in trouble without a computer. I rely on it heavily for school. I don’t know if I’d have the stamina to do all the research I’m going to need to do without a computer.
I need a computer for work, checking e-mails, fab40, and other stuff. These days it’s a neccessity.
The only thing that would be difficult is keeping in touch with friends and family since I live abroad. For the rest, I think it would be easier than it looks. When I left the city and realized I would have less than 2 hours of internet a month, I thought I would have to find an internet cafe because most of my free time was in front of my computer screen (when not climbing). It turned out that I didn’t miss it at all. Now, after 10 minutes in front of the screen, I don’t really know what to do on the net. Too many interesting things happening around me!
No, I’d return to the ways of old. Research using books, articles, encyclopedia, films etc. Use snail mail and the phone a lot more. Take a lot more photos to send out for visuals. My family, hobbies, daily and social events keep me with plenty to do!
An act of kindness is a gift given

Funny story...my mom who is 75 this year is always on her computer..she lives for e-mail mostly. Anyway, she purchased a laptop to take when they travel to our cottage in the summer. She and my step-dad arrived early this week and it has been difficult for them to get a signal for the computer. It has literally upset her that she has to talk on the phone to relatives so we can keep abreast of how they are. Ladies, my mom is addicted to the Web!..lol.![]()
