    • There’s a crosswalk nearby, but some rather be unsafe and walk/run on a busy road.  It bothers me when toddlers cross on their own their parents are not watching them. Also some people think they have the right to cross without looking both ways and glare at the drivers.

    • There is a cross walk T the grocery store and people cross blindly just expecting the cars to stop. I have seen a few very close misses.
On the flip side of that a lot of the cars also are not looking....

    • i get very annoyed with pedestrians who just cross on a crossing without looking, they have this notion that they have right of road and can cross without a care for looking for oncoming cars

    • In Turkey people cross highways running between cars. Even the stray dogs know better and take the footbridges!!!

    • There is so much reckless behavior, it surprises that more people are not killed when crossing the street.

I like that Mavikaya when you mention that even the dogs know better!

    • When people cross without a crosswalk and hold their hand up to the drivers - That really makes me mad.

    • I see so few pedestrians.  The town where I work is very pedestrian UNfriendly.   I’ve been a pedestrian in that town and let me tell you, it’s taking your life in your hands to try walking anywhere in that town.  The only habits of pedestrians I see is that they are scurrying for their very lives.  That’s just so wrong.  Some people choose not to drive, and some people can’t afford to drive or are unable to drive.  The town should accomodate them too.

    • In Manhattan, throngs of people jaywalk, which cracks me up. Everyone is in such a hurry, they should slow down just a tad.

I am a pedestrian, so when I have the green light, it bothers the daylights out of me that drivers can’t wait for me to cross and fly in front of me with not even a second look. That “Me First” attitude makes me sick and almost every day there is reason for me to say I hate inconsiderate drivers. If suddenly those drivers would have to rely on two feet or two wheels, I’m positive they would not last a week.

    • There’s a lot of jay walking here. And what annoys me is when people are out walking their dogs and they walk in the street. There close to the curb but on the road and of course their dog is on the outter side closer to the road. I don’t understand that. There’s a sidewalk. I would hate to see something bad happen to the dogs cause some idiot driver speeding as they do here on a residential street hits them. Stay on the sidewalk people and think about the dog..ok I said what I had to say worried
