Q & A

The previous question got me thinking about age in general.  Does it matter to you?  Does your own age matter?  The age of your friends?  The age of your spouse?  Do you prefer to hang out with people your own age?

    • With this series of questions, I say no to them all, if they have the mental maturity, and act like sensible adults I have no issues with the age differences.

    • Age doesn’t matter to me either. I hang out a lot with old people, I work with a lot of young people.  I like or dislike all of them based on attitude.  I don’t actually  know very many people my own age.

    • No, age is just a number to me. I like to surround myself with decent and honest people of all ages who enjoy living and life!

One of my dearest friends, Alice passed in April.  She was 80 and she lived life to the fullest-retired educator/professor, swimming, music lessons, entertaining friends, gardening, crocheting, knitting and traveling.  She was full of wisdom and laughter! I really miss her but when I think of her I get a belly laugh.  I was so blessed to have enjoyed her company.

    • As far as my age it would be pleasing to have a lesser number, but of course you can’t move back time. It’s just the NUMBER that sounds soooo old, but I do feel young. The people I usually hang out with are much younger than me, but I love to know people of all ages.

    • age becomes more relevant to me when it matters to someone else.  when and if i hang out with others it is more their personality and nature not their age that determines the situation.  i like happy positive and social people.  i find it waring on my emotions to always be with people who are constantly complaining, angry, abusive, uncouth, just plain unpleasant...i am 49 now and i can still say i can be silly, cute, dumb, intelligent, clever, funny etc..when i have been so sick in the past i have purposely held childrens hands.  they made me feel better, they made me happy.  my husband is 49 too he has seen alot of the undesirable side of people. it has aged him somewhat.  i like people of all ages.  i find the youth of today, where i am living too skin deep, uncaring and too self obsessed.estaticestaticestatic(sorry that was long)
