The state of Michigna is contemplating releasing some prisoners early because they want to save more money I feel this is a bunch of crap. They want to release non-threatening criminals ex: thieves, felons, etc... I thought no matter what crime you committed to cause you to go to prison, you‘re a threat to society, what are your thoughts?
I agee with you both. If they‘re released I hope these criminals do alot of community service.
do the crime you do the time. 
i can understand and accept non threatening criminals early release. what is unfortunate is that there may not be better mechanisms in prison to assist those from reoffending upon their early release. it comes down to hard cash. no money no can do. sorry to say.
Not exactly sure what that would do except encourage more crime if they were released. Guess most big cities can cause problems for the whole state, money talks I guess.
I don’t like this either but I would probably worry more about the city, county and state laying off cops. They are needed even more in Michigan with the economy the way it is.
