What have you inherited from a loved one when they passed away?
I remember when hub’s great-grandfather passed away, hub was left the most beautiful bronze dog statues. His great grand-dad was a mason and carved some exquisite additions onto a local church.
My papa on my mom’s side left his favorite watch to our son, that is a real treasure for him.
When my mom passed away I got her brass lion which is sitting in my dining room and $11,000.00, when my mom’s oldest sister passed I got her fur coat, when my dad passed I got his bronzed color fedora hat and I wear it proudly it was his favorite.

When my husband’s grandmother passed away, I got a glider rocker that she had bought and nobody but me ever seemed to sit in it and enjoy it, so she left it to me.
When my mom’s mom passed away, each of us grandkids got $1,000 which was quite a chunk of change in those days.

When my hubby’s mom passed away, he gave me a ring of hers which was very sweet of him to do. I didn’t expect anything. He also gave me his grandmas wedding ring that his mom had kept also. 2 very pretty rings that I will cherish always.
When my hubs great grandmother passed, he inherited 20k. It was supposed to go to his dad , but he had passed so it went to hubs next
Well I have nothing from my dad. His wife has kept everything.
