My parents do not. I’ve even GIVEN them a really nice phone with caller ID, answering machine etc. Mom has a cell phone that she rarely uses and refuses to learn to text or use the voice mail. She just doesn’t get that I don’t actually want to talk to people, I just need to leave a message.

I bought new home phones a month ago and haven’t set up my voice mail yet...
Yeah, myself. I don’t have a home phone at all. But everyone else I know have voice mail on their cells, except my mom. She doesn’t own a cell phone. She doesn’t want one. But I’m thinking I need to get her just a simple one for emgergencys only cause she is always out and about somewhere.
We don’t even have a home phone, as do most of our friends. Everyone has cells now, no use in a fixe phone.
