    • Lately I do.  I just feel it’s like the same thing every day, work during the week and then errands and cleaning on the weekends.  Strange thing is that I have had some big changes in the last couple months like a brand new job but I’m still bored!!

    • I get bored on Sunday afternoons.  I can’t afford gas to go anywhere on Sunday.  Our cafe is no longer open, so we can’t go out to eat. So every week I come home from church and read a book and look at my house thinking I should do some cleaning.  And then I finish my book and take the dog for a walk and start over on Monday.

    • on the odd occasion i do get bored,  usually when that happens i make myself, force myself to find something to do.  walk read play just something...a new job??? i also like to sit and relax and reflect alone or walk reflect alone.  i question myself, question my choices, expectations, goals etc....question question question.  i also seek answers or others opinions online, in books, professional people in person.  a process over time.  if after racking my brain and i still have no ants in my pants i go out and do something that is out of my comfort zone.....a graphic horror movie, bungie jumping, nudist beach, speed dating, dinner in the air suspended by ropes, sssssooommmeeetttthhinnnnggtongue outohhhhestatic

    • I love plaspak49’s answer! We actually have a nude beach over here - but I wouldn’t want to scare the kiddies!!!estaticestaticestaticestatic

I agree that sometimes we just have to force ourselves to get out and do something different.

We have gotten in a terrible rut over here since started back to school. Last semester was horrible. It dawned on me that I have only 3 weeks to go before the whole thing starts over again so this morning we got up early, went to early mass, and then headed down to the ocean for a 5 mile walk along the boardwalk and the sand. It was great!! We used to do that all the time. Then we came home and had lunch and I feel like I’ve had a great weekend just with that one activity.

    • Of course I do just like everyone. Sure life can be so monotonous, but just like what Nita said do SOMETHING.

Join a meetup group in your area. This weekend I look forward to getting together w/ some women for coffee and pastry.

    • I also have times when I am bored or lonely too. I agree with those who spoke before me, it is all about doing something fun, or creative, or something just for you.

    • Honestly, with me it is not boredom, but not finding enough time to get things done.  I make a plan for myself on the weekend what needs to be done during the week, usually stick to it, but then something comes up and then things are put on the back burner.  Are you interested in taking up a hobby?  There are limitless possibilities, so sit and think about it, I bet you come up with something you really love to do.estatic
