Hi Ladies I need help. What detergent and how much do you use to wash hats in dishwasher? The hats are black.
Run them just the same as you would a load of really greasy pots and pans.

I usually only wash hats in about a cup of baking soda with a tablespoon of dishwashing powder. The baking soda will soften the water so that the detergent will work. I always find that using less than the manufacturer suggests is enough, and a little detergent goes a long way.
