Unfortulately, a cold is a virus that will have to play out for about 10 days. You can relieve the symptoms with fluids, rest and sometimes zinc. But the cold itself, once it starts, just has to run its course.
What you take depends on sypmtoms. Personally, I’m a big fan of Sudafed to clear up congestion.
