Q & A

Long dresses how long will the fad last? Remember decades ago how the long dresses were in style (oops dating myself-LOL) they have made a huge return the last 2 years. I love many of the new styles, has anyone who never thought to wear one again bought a few, I am wondering if a year from now the style will once again be gone for another 20+ years.

    • When the mini skirt made a come back, we all thought it was a fad, and it has stayed as a staple. I kind of think the long dress will be the same thing.  I have taken to wearing them for casual events and around the house, and will continue to do so even if they do go out of style again.

    • Just like Nita I don’t follow the fashion trend. I think long dresses will always be available.

    • Long or short of them it’s not a fad, it’s a choice of style for those who like wearing them. I personally have loved the maxi dresses for as long as I can remember even in high school I wore them and I have several in my wardrobe they are very functional pieces.

    • I agree with everyone times have changed a lot and fashion in staying in style for much longer periods of time and becoming stables, along with the mini the platform shoe and jellies (jelly shoes) have stayed in style and become fashion stable

    • I believe the long dresses will be fashionable for a while.  Comfort and the  style of long dresses gives a care-free, easy, breezy feeling which  many enjoy.  Long live the long dresses!hearthappyheart
