    • Although my ex in-laws still cared for me I felt that I no longer belonged. My daughter has a good relationship with all. Lately, I’ve been feeling that I want to get together with my ex’s sister who was a good friend. We are going to have lunch either this weekend or next. I’m looking forward to it.

    • Tulip, LOL - that bad! Well, I’d rather associate with my ex in-laws than my ex-husband.

    • I figure a divorce decree covers the whole clan.  Although I will speak civilly to those ex relatives who speak to me.  He has one cousin I still speak to and I will talk to the ex mother in law if I see her in town, but mostly I avoid the whole pack of them.  And there are a LOT of them.

    • I agree with Tulip.  My ex sent my parents a Christmas card and my step mother sent one back to him.  I was so pissed.  I called her and said...“This is the man who was going to put a pillow over my face as I slept....what part of that makes you think to send him a chirstmas card”  Now, if I happen to run into his family,  I can be cordial but have no desire to be friends.  My Ex is still a d***.

But, to each there own I guess.
