    • I start making soups in the fall. Our weather never really gets what you’d call cold so any time it starts to cool off, I love to put soups and stews on the stove.

    • Mushroom picking. It’s very important to be able to recognize them because some are poisonous, but once you know, wild mushrooms are sooo tasty!!

    • Oh boy, you both make me hungry!  :)

Fall seems to mean food to me too.  Fall starts with the bazaar at my mom’s church.  They put on a real nice supper.  Then there is the fireman’s feed here in town and then making goodies for the trick or treaters and then the firemen’s feed in the town where my parents live.

    • Our township doesn’t have anything in particular as there is diversity here and people celebrate different things, but on our little street, some of the neighbors like to decorate, others like to have little parties (Halloween).

I decorate for Fall, make warm weather foods and treats, get special treats for our backyard birds and squirrels, plant winter flowers, and rake lots and lots and lots of leaves..lol!tongue out

    • A Fall Festival is held in our town.  Family traditions are decorating the home for fall, making  throws available for snuggling and eating lots of comfort foods.
