    • I used to say I had a cast iron stomach. I could eat anything and it didn’t affect me. Over the past year, though, it seems I get bloated easier and I can’t tolerate the types of foods I used to. My dad had terrible stomach issues, my sister has acid reflux and IBS, my brother has acid reflux, and my mother is still going strong at 84 with very little trouble eating anything. Just wondering if anyone else is having the same experience.

    • I have never had an iron stomach so I always had to be careful. Now it seems like the simple things can bother me too. A bananna can cause me heartburn.  Plain bland food can sometimes cause upset. So I just have to balance it all better......ohhhh

    • I really don’t have stomach issues but my husband can’t eat too late or else he will have stomach issues.  I can no longer eat Taco Bell but that’s about it.

    • Knock on wood, I don’t have any stomach issues. However, I  know and love alot of people who do. I see the pain and misery they have to go thru. All the foods they love and are unable eat or they suffer badly. frown

    • I’ve always had that “cast iron stomach“.  Still do. As long as I stay away from chemical loaded processed food and soda pop, I’m good to go.

This may not be true for everyone, but it’s something I’ve noticed in my circle of friends and family.  The ones with tummy troubles are the pop drinkers and people with an unhealthy diet.

    • Yes, and I have been that way most of my life, probably starting from infancy when my mom said I had a very sensitive system.  So, in essence, thank goodness for organic foods, gluten-free products and stomach medications.
