Our New Years always consist of spending the night at home, warm and safe. We try our very best to stay awake until midnight, but don’t make it most years

This is the first year EVER I have not made plans. I normally get dressed up, do a big hotel bash - just had a rough year and hope bringing it in quietly, the rest will be amazing!
I have a couple medical appointments that day and in the evening we’ll probably just go out to dinner.
I’m kind of hoping someone special will want to spend New Year’s Eve with me. But I’m not sure, his christmas plans was with his one son, his mom and dad. Though he did see me briefly Christmas eve before spending time with his daughter. And I have my girls for christmas. We‘re at that point in the relationship where I want those special times with him but I can understand us still doing our thing as we’ve only been dating 4 months yet known each other 2 and 1/2 years..so slow is ok. Though I thought I was I slow one being it took me 2 and 1/2 to say yes to a date..maybe he thinks I don’t want too. We are both very independent people so I don’t want to crowd each other. If not.. I’ll be home with my girls in pjs...
