    • I was surprised to see it on the shelf at the store yesterday, so I bought a bottle (not cheap let me tell you!).  I’m always looking for ways to cut more chemicals out of our eating.

I don’t personally eat ketchup, but hubby does, so I got him a bottle.  Hopefully he will open it and try it soon.

    • My Heinz ketchup label’s title says GUESS WHAT MY BOTTLE IS MADE OF? Up to 30% made from plants 100% recyclable bottle. I haven’t seen the “simple ingredients” ketchup. The ingredients on mine are tomato concentrate from red ripe tomatoes, distilled vinegar, high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, salt, spice, onion powder, and natural flavoring.

    • I always thought ketchup was only made from simple ingredients, just learned something.  Avoiding the high fructose corn syrup is good though.

    • Actually ketchup is very high in sugar or high fructose corn syrup or whatever sweetener the company is using.

This new bottle I got uses sugar instead of HFCS which is good, but still, more sugar than what a person needs to be eating.

Just give me good old brown mustard and I’m happy.
