    • My number one peice of advice about online dating...get it OFF the computer as soon as possible.  Allowing the “relationship” to stay 2-dimensional for too long is not good and, IMO, a recipe for deception.

    • No first-hand information for me to share, Marion.  I’ve been online for nearly 20 years and have been a part of several chatrooms and other social media sites...have known many, many people online who use the Internet to deceive.  There are red flags and anyone who decides to use the internet for social purposes needs to learn them and look for them.  Meeting in person BEFORE exchanging too much personal information and getting too emotionally involved is just good sense, IMO.
