    • not on dress alone, i look at their hair, hands, skin texture, the way they talk, walk, how they hold themselves...i look at the whole package.  appearance can be superficial or pretentious....etc...i am cautious of the slick well dressed very extroverted chap

    • I try not to, but sometimes I steer away from the beautiful people and cooperate types because I feel that I don’t belong. They ignore me too.

    • Well like Nita I pay attention to the whole package. Unless they are just plain dirty or inappropriatly dresses ( like the 44 DDD braless woman wearing a thin tshirt in winter inside Target) I usually don’t judge. However paying attention tells me things about people so I can better help them with product , hair style or etc.

    • Agree with Vikki...dirty clothing, dirty or smelly body, inappropriate clothing, is not really someone that I care to chat with.  There are exceptions like the person isn’t feeling well and running into the drugstore for medicine (who gets dressed up for that?) or doing yard work all day, that is different, because I have been there.

    • I try not too, sometimes the nicest of people do not have the means to dress nice.

    • I try hard not to.  But.... we got a new kid at work, with the baggy pants, earrings, and the cap on his head sideways and shoes not tied, etc.  You’ve all seen the type.

And I’m sorry, but I’ve judged him without even speaking to him.  “He’s a sissy boy who won’t last three months.”  And that’s wrong of me I know.  And I try to be friendly and nice to ALL the new people, but I’ve prejudged this young man so bad that I don’t even want to speak to him.
