    • I am so waiting patiently, but alas it is still March and the weather is tricky.  This year, hub and I are concentrating on maintenance of our current perennials, shrubs and grasses.  I do have a beautiful pink clematis that is growing in my little greenhouse right now, so come time it will be planted outside.  We are working on putting in an outdoor shed and doing concrete work outside this year, so what we have now will be sufficient.

      How about you butterfly?

    • Mary, I’ve bought seeds all winter and they’ve sat in my indoor greenhouse.  I recently purchased some tulips and parsley plants.  I can begin planting outdoors now!  Many seeds will start in my greenhouse and then it’ll be moved  outside to the patio.

The lawn service has come and prepped my gardens for planting.  Maintainance of our present plants is ongoing. We’ll be replacing a few bushes as the Texas heat took its toll on them.  It’s sad because they were planted when we built our home 16 years ago! But, we’ll start anew and enjoy!happy  Many plants and flowers are budding. Real signs of spring have arrived!

Oh, I’m planting veggies, flowers and herbs this year!

My hubby almost finished building the greenhouse. I will start using it in April, when I don’t work at the ski resort anymore. Can’t wait!!!tongue out

    • I’ll be starting some seeds indoors probably next week.  The new space I dug up last fall is thawed enough that I’ve been digging in organic matter.  It needs quite a bit more work before I can plant in it.  Due to time constraints, I’m downsizing my garden this year and rethinking how and where and what I plant. Also going to be wokring on a medicine wheel garden.
