    • He has friends but he doesn’t seem them very often except one who he goes bike-riding with about twice a week.  But his friend doesn’t come over and my hubby doesn’t go over his house.  That’s pretty much all they do is bike-ride together.

    • Hub is a sociable guy in certain settings.  He has a very best buddy who is very outgoing and invites hub over often.  They have gone to baseball games, hunting and fishing, hang out at his buddy’s home with some other guys, white river rafting trip and various social functions...they also work together so that helps.  He and his wife are also part of our wine trip group.

Hub does like his free time also as he keeps busy with lots of projects.

Does your hub have any projects or hobbies that he loves, Diane?

    • My husband is absolutely a loner.  He hates social events.  He has a few friends at work, but never sees anyone socially.  He rarely participates in community events and barely knows our neighbors by sight.

    • @ Mary - Jason loves bike-riding and he also enjoys playing his guitar which he does quite a bit of in his man-cave downstairs.

    • As long as they are happy, that’s what matters, right?   Mine done nothing but go to work and come home and watch television, but he seems very content, so I guess it’s all good.

    • Yes and so am I now. We work a lot and when we‘re not working we‘re trying to rest and enjoy each other. We have a few friends we gather with from time to time, but we pretty much keep to ourselves.

    • dh has a great persnality and is popular at work.  but he’s content w/ spending time w/ just me and the kids.  he’s always been this way.

think it’s b/c he’s in sales and spends so much time talking to people that he doesn’t care to do any more.  I understand that.
