    • We have a rather large contract where I work...about 50 people are on the contract.  I  have been there a year and people are constantly coming and going.  On my particular team, I just found out that a colleague emailed our supervisor and said his last day would be Monday.  Very sudden.  And another team member will be moving to a different project at the client site probably in a few weeks.  I would say our turnover is about 50% if not higher.

    • We have a pretty high turnover too, mainly because the wages are so low.  Anyone who can find something better moves on pretty fast.  Also, it’s a lot of actual physical work and lots of people are too lazy for that.

I’ve been there a year and a half and I’ve seen a bunch of people come and go already.  One guy last 2 days.  One gal who started this winter complained that it was “monotonous” and quit after a week.

Out of 35 people, there are less than 10 (counting managers) that are still there from when I started.
