    • My ex skipped out on his daughter’s high school graduation and again he’s going to miss her college graduation. He lives long distance and makes excuses. She told him in advance, yet he plans to visit sometime later. It breaks her heart and mine too that he doesn’t think it’s important to be here on her special day.  He’s own family are shaking their heads too!

    • Well I could be compassionate and say maybe there circumstances beyond his control. But no that’s just bul*****!!!!!!!!!

I think some men are just wired differently from the rest and they only focus on themselves.

    • There is no excuse in my opinion.

Unfortunately, fathers love their kids when they love their mothers.

I’ve seen it many times over and over as soon as there is another woman in the picture and she has her own kids or they have a child together, the kids from previous marriages are forgotten. It’ is sooo sad and unfair. frownfrownfrownfrownheartbreak

    • I think it’s so wrong.

My parents were divorced for a long time by the time I graduated high school and he wasn’t the greatest dad, but my dad came to my high school graduation, my college graduation, and my graduate school graduation.

    • Diane, that’s wonderful your dad attended all your graduations.
Yana, I don’t think he and his wife even care about her kids. Thankfully, they don’t have children together. He tells my daughter how proud he is of her, yet doesn’t show it!
      Vikki, yes it’s bul*****!

    • It stinks all the way around and your daughter will never forget this the rest of her life..those happy moments are once in a lifetime.  You will be both mom and dad to her and that is what countsheart..trust me, my mom can vouch for that.
