    • I think I’m making good money but many of my colleagues have told me that they took a pay cut to come work on our contract.  I didn’t get a pay cut but a modest increase when I came to work on this contract.  But it makes me wonder.  The colleagues I talked to have very similar backgrounds to mine...we all have Masters and many years of experience.  Also I heard that the company we work for hasn’t given any raises in a number of years and that’s discouraging.  I have always gotten raises every year.

    • I know I’m not getting paid what I’m worth.  I’m a very valuable asset to my workplace, and the boss gave me as big a raise as he could, but not near what I’m worth.

    • No, I don’t think my co-workers and I are getting paid what we‘re worth. However, the employees with much more seniority than me have told me that their pay is just slightly above mine. Evidently, when they reach the end of the pay scale for their position their salary stays the same. The only raise we get is the yearly increase of a few cents on our hourly pay. I used to work where we got annual bonuses, but no such a thing in my current job.
