      For me it’s that our children have access to free K-12 public education. Also, the US is always willingly helping other countries in crisis.

    • I see that, whenever there is a natural disaster or some type of tragedy in other parts of the world, it’s the people of our country who react immediately and give help to others in need. It’s something that, as Americans, we just “do.” We care about the wellbeing of others. I also like the way we rally for animals - something I’m not sure other countries do so strongly as we do.

      After the tsunami in Thailand, some of my husband’s students came to him and said they wanted to raise money. They set a goal to raise $5,000. They raised $20,000. And this was just a bunch of kids! I was so proud of them.heart

    • Religious Freedom - We can worship freely and not worry about being persecuted as others are in other countries.
