    • I did a fall planting of carrots, but then the weather got hot and then they didn’t get watered, so I don’t think I’ll be getting any carrots.  I’ll be planting garlic this week, but that doesn’t get harvested till July.  I’m anticipating our first fall frost any day now.

    • Hi Butterflyrose, nice to see you.

Hub and I just planted some native perennials, mostly a leafy variety..he is currently taking all of the seeds from our summer flowers (which attract hummingbirds) and putting them in storage for planting in the spring.  We were contemplating planting a small tree in our yard, but will wait until we design our round rock garden.  As of now, we are currently preparing part of our yard for a shed.

      How about you?

    • We have such warm weather most of the year round that we still have our garden from springtime and summer.  We have peppers, scallions, tomatoes, cucumbers, celery and squash as well as lemons and keylimes on our tree’s :)
