Q & A

In your opinion are either of these the lesser of two evils or are they the same in measure: Hitting someone, or verbally abusing and cursing at someone? Does both weight the same amount of hurt/ pain? What’s your opinion?

    • Fortunately, I’ve never been hit. However, people have verbally abused and cursed at me. I think both physical and verbal abuse weigh the same amount of hurt or pain. You never forget the hurtful words and the bruises on your body. heartbreak

    • I’ve put up with verbal abuse and cursing, but I would have to put a stop to hitting. I feel hitting is worse, though both do hurt.

    • I’d rather someone took a swing at me.  That’s something you can see and realize and fight back against.

Verbal abuse is sometimes to subtle that it’s gone on for years before a person really realizes it’s happening.

    • I have experienced both forms of abuse...physical abuse from strangers and verbal abuse from so-called friends and family and to be honest both forms can have lasting affects.frown
