    • When I lived in Washington State I used to drive along some of the country roads to look at the fall leaves. They were so beautiful. When I lived in southern California I went up to a town called Julian this time of year to go apple picking, buy apples for my pies, have lunch, stock up on cider, dried fruit, and nuts, and just enjoy the crisp cool air. I miss it. Can’t wait to get back on the mainland in a year and a half.

    • I usually take the boys to a pumpkin patch in October.  Also, with my oldest, we go to a scary venue.  Last year we went to some Haunted Woods.   This year I hope to take him to an amusement park that has a Halloween event going on.

    • We are invited to a neighbor’s Halloween bash on the 19th, she really goes all out.

We also plan to visit some local wineries to taste some Autumn wine flavors, hub and son are taking his nephew (cousin) on a haunted hayride, we also plan to take a ride up to some antique and collectible shops in a semi-rural area.

      The apples sound awesome, Cynthia!estatic

    • Our fall tradition is the big birthday party we usually do for my two daughters, mother and husband.  Not sure if we will have it this year as there seems to be a lack of enthusiasm.
