    • I’m wondering because, in my last semester of nursing school, I have to have an area of focus. Nutrition has always been an interest of mine. I was considering buying a software program for my computer and doing my own mini case study throughout the semester with some of the students on campus who want to lose weight. I was also going to try and get our campus health center involved with blood work, BMI tracking, and vital signs monitoring to track my results.

After nursing, I’m considering going into endocrinology and most of my patients will probably be either diabetic or pre diabetic and will need diet counseling.

    • I did several times. First time in my twenties to Hermain Lee she was a tiny 4‘10 85 lbs woman in her late sixties with an attitude of a bulldog. She got my butt into shape in three months but she was mean heart

I think that you Cynthia will make a wonderful nutritionist because you are kind and patient and by the time you are done will be very knowledgeable.

    • I would love to see one if I could afford it, not sure if our insurance would cover the cost.

    • It sounds wonderful that you may choose Endocrinology, and I may ask you some questions down the road as I am having some thyroid issues and am scheduled for a scan and blood work next week.

I have never seen a nutritionist, but our son who is a certified PT may consider adding that certification with more schooling down the road and hopefully keep his Mama abreast of things.estaticheart
