    • No.  I think the young women today are smart and goal-oriented. They are not dependent on men because they have a mind of their own and will fight and achieve whatever comes their way.

    • young women are growing up in a different world, with greater technologies and broader choices.  some choose not to maintain standards of the past, some just dont care, others just dont know, while those who know feel the effort is a struggle in todays society.  even though we are in a world of more open communication and shared understanding men still hold alot of power.

    • I see a lot of young women who instead of being dependent on a man are being dependent on the government, which is even worse!

I see young women who tolerate all sorts of garbage from so-called “men” just so they can have a boyfriend.  When did that become a requirement of life?  Seems to be right up there with food and shelter for most of these girls.

I taught my daughters better than that, but I see it in co-workers and girls in the community and it makes me so sad and frustrated.

    • I believe it’s a mixed bag. I see some young women with this horrible sexting stuff and it demeans them but they don’t get it. at least not yet. It will come back to haunt them. I think technology in the hands of young people needs to be better supervised by the parents.

Women fought hard for rights. I remember being a secretary in the 70’s and we were treated like “things” but there were no repercussions. The treatment was just endured. That has certainly changed. Women are more outspoken about how they‘re treated, which is a positive thing.

    • I agree with Cynthia, and may I add they are also making it a lot harder to connect with responsible, caring young men who want to love them and be a part of their lives.

Many seem to want to dehumanize and emasculate young men, therefore, making them appear to be their puppets or as my husband puts it “metro-sexuals“.

This is a very sore subject for me as I see ALOT of narcissistic, mean, cruel, young women who think everything is about them and don’t care about anyone’s feelings.

I believe that Libbers may have created a monster in SOME women.
