    • If you have dry skin any make up will look “cakie”

I recommend to use oil of Olye brush daily to exfoliate dead skin and to use a really good moisturizer several times a day.
Also taking fish/omega oils helps with dry skin.

Once the skin isn’t patchy with dry spots any make up will do.

In the summer I use barre minerals but in the winter I tend to gravitate towards liquid make up.

      Hope this helps

    • My skin is quite dry, so on the rare occassions I wear makeup, I slather on moisturizer a little while before I put on my liquid foundation.  Then I use Revlon Age Defying foundation.  Seems to work ok.

    • I love coconut oil!  It is multi-functional, you can get it very inexpensively at Costco and it works great.

    • Jane Iredale is amazing ( the BB Cream foundation ) After 40 your new BBF is a great primer.. ( its a must ) Try Jane Iredale Smooth Affair primer and brightener. If you don’t want to spend the money try any primer you‘re familiar with.. Stay away from shimmer eye shadow.. matt is best for most women over 40.. not all, but most. Just whatever makes you feel sexy and will stand up during a hot flash.. lol.
