    • I don’t buy brand new unless it’s a gift. I’ve read a lot of my daughter’s books and now I refer to a list. Most of the books I want to read are usually not available at the library. I like to check the thrift stores and some books are brand new still selling at the book stores.

    • All of the above!  I buy buy books at the thrift shop, I beg books from friends, I buy new, I buy for my Nook, I borrow from the library.

At the moment I’m reading one book that was a friend’s recommendation and another book that was written by a friend.  One book on my list is a book that was referred to in another book.....  there’s no logic to the way I chose books to read.

    • I just realize that this site has a Book Nook - What are you reading club. I went through it and added some to my list. This will help the next time I go to the library or thrift store.
