Hi Ladies, i am going through peri-menopause can some of you tell me some of your symtoms as we go along i tell you some of mine which i think is sooo much its depressing :(

    • For me the mood swings are the worst of it.  We have an ongoing post somewhere here about perimenopause. I will see if I can find it and bump it up.

    • Thanks Tuliplady, nice to be backheart, i know i have the mood swings also, i cant name out all mine is too much i have, i can tell you a few, begin with breast tenderness,sometimes breast pain, hair falling, hot and cold flashes, light headed, dizzyness like i am going to fall,headaches, nauseau, forgetfullness, trouble sleeping, virginal dryness, and i can go on telling you more that i have, its really really feel abonormal for mefrown

    • I had many of those symptoms as I went through peri-menopause. The hot flashes and heart palpitations have lingered the longest. The confusion, mood swings, and forgetfulness didn’t last too long. I started feeling symptoms about 6 years ago and so far, this winter, I’m feeling like I may be coming to the end of it all. We’ll see if I tolerate summer well, though.

      If they get too bad, you may want to go to your doc and see you can have a blood panel done.

    • I started with the hot and cold flashes several years ago.  No longer have the cold flashes, just HOT, HOT, HOT.

    • Thanks ladies for telling me of your experience i thought i was abornormal as i had counted 30 symtoms i have, i have started from age 45 now turning 50 this year some people last up to 10 years of it, hope mind ends soon,and also for you ladies, we poor women really suffer through these horrible stuff, well i have to say we are really strong beings to cope luv you ladies heart

      I had a complete hysterectomy, and still get hot flashes..go figure..lol.
