    • My husband’s daughter calls him a lot but I’m not overly fond of her. She’s burned bridges with me over the years. We take care of her 8 year old a lot, though. That fun, we love that little girl!

    • One daughter is a 5 hr drive away.  I suppose we see her six times a year at best.  She and her dad talk on the phone fairly often.

My two daughters and I are always texting.  Several times a day sometimes.  Visiting doesn’t happen so much. We‘re all very busy.

Son, well, he’s just a lost cause.  :(

    • My daughter moved out almost a year ago. I didn’t expect her to, but initially she told me that she’ll visit every weekend. She’s so busy with her own life, now she comes to visit once a month or on a special occasion. That’s OK. We email more than call once in awhile.

    • Son is still home with us, which is fine as he will be continuing school and honestly don’t think financially he could live on his own and go to school right now.  He is a huge help to me right now especially buying groceries, dropping me off to doctor appts., helping his dad with projects...at some point he will be on his own and we will miss him.heartbreak
