    • When my daughter was younger and at home I use to buy 500 - 1000 piece puzzles at the thrift store and we both loved to do it together. Sometimes there were a couple of pieces missing, but that was okay.

Lately, I’ve been wanting to work on jigsaw puzzles so I bought one w/ 500 pieces and enjoyed it so much. Then at a book store I bought one on clearance (I don’t buy regular price, they‘re expensive) and my mind is on doing this puzzle than doing house projects. As I’m on this site my eyes are are looking for pieces. Oh no...

    • Oh I LOVE jigsaw puzzles!!!!  But..... if I get one out I’m an absolute addict.  I cannot do anything else until it is done.  So, I don’t buy them very often.  I can usually get them for a quarter at the thrift shop, so it’s tempting.....

    • A quarter what a deal! Ours is at least 99 cents. What kind of pictures do you like?

The one I finished is a cafe puzzle - coffee signs, mugs, coffee beans, espresso machine. My current puzzle shows a couple jogging and as they pass a bakery window the hubby’s head is turned.

I don’t buy a singular puzzle such as all popcorn, jellybeans, etc. I wouldn’t ever accomplish those.

    • I guess I lean toward landscapes.  I try not to get anything with a huge amount of blue sky though.  I had a 4000 piece puzzle of a Victorian house in California.  Not to bad to put together, but I had to give up on that clear blue sky.  Impossible.
