When or if you‘re going to get married , was all the money you spent worth it?

    • Been married twice.  No point spending money on a wedding.  There are too many other things in life to spend they $$ on that are far more important than a ridiculous 20 minute ceremony.  Go to the courthouse and be done with it.  It’s just a piece of paper after all.

    • Been married once and we didn’t spend a huge amount of money. I do wonder about why some couples spend thousands on a wedding from the expensive dress to the lavish reception.

    • Many young people spend thousands of dollars on their wedding and put themselves way in debt at the beginning of marriage. I just cant see doing that unless you‘re really loaded :) For me, it’s just a bad way to begin your life together.
