    • When adults and children ask about my age I usually say in my ... or “old“.

A kindergarten student said that I’m so old and a 2nd grader said that she wanted to ask how old I am, but didn’t want to hurt my feelings. I realize to most kids a two digit number is old to them, but so old and didn’t want to hurt your feelings sound like I’m seen as a hag. frown

    • I’m delighted to be the age I am, many people don’t have the pleasure of growing old. I think it’s important to enjoy your life as much as you can at any age. Truly is a gift.

    • I look little kids right in the eye and tell them “I’m old as dirt.”

Young people who try to take offense to me calling them a “Kid” I tell them they are younger than all my kids or half my kids or whatever and therefore, still a “kid”

People about my own age I just tell them that I’ve been lying about my age for so long that I’d have to stop and do the math.

I’m not ashamed of my age, but I do like to leave people guessing. :D
