    • I’m sorry.

I don’t feel qualified to advise you other than to suggest you find someone who you trust that you can lean on.  I can’t imagine the depth of pain you must feel.

This is your husband’s failure, not yours.  Remember that!

Good luck and I hope you find the answers you are looking for.

    • Do you have any other friends that you can trust? Right now, it would be really helpful for you to get counseling. It is so helpful because, they do not know you, your husband or friend so they are looking at the problem clearly. There are places that have a sliding scale for help with the cost. In between, do you have other friends to talk to? Some questions I’m curious about is why so long for the friend to come forward? Why now? Does she have an agenda? I can’t imagine the feeling of being in the dark so long, being around them both while this was going on and not knowing. Never ever forget that you will get through this. You will be OK. You are the normal one, not them. Your husband is not husband-material any longer. Don’t worry about hiring a divorce attorney right now. Just concentrate on you getting through this. Everything else will slowly come into focus. You can do this!
