    • I think it’s so wonderful that we can hug, kiss, tell people we love them and no one thinks it’s “gay“. Guys don’t seem to have that freedom.

Can guys walk along with arms linked together? Can they sit close on the couch while watching a sappy chic flick? Are they completely comfortable giving each other pedicures and should massages?

I love it that we are so in touch with our feminine side!!!

    • I love being a woman because women “evolve“.  We are constantly growing, learning and changing.  Men seem to just be happy with simple, comfortable things. (I guess I should just speak of my husband only, no offense)

Women seem to always be looking for ways to improve themselves.  I know that for me, I love the fact that I raised my children and focused on that, and now it’s my turn to do something for me.  It’s like another chapter of my life that I get to write.  How many men can say that?  Not too many!

I feel empowered, smart and unstoppable!  I wish you all the same!

    • That’s funny!

I think I like being a women for the connection women are able to make with one another. It’s a bond that many men just don’t understand or are capable of, depriving them often times of really deep friendship.

My husband looks at me like I have two heads sometimes when I talk about the bond among the women here.

    • c, you are so right.  i mentioned the question we had last night about the movies that made us cry to my family and they all laughed at me. see, that’s why i treasure you all so much, ‘cause no matter what the issue, there’s something we still share, even it’s only on the fringe...

    • I totally agree about the emotional side of women!!  Man, if I was a guy, and eyes got all moist like they do when I’m happy or sad, they would call me the biggest punk ever!!  Plus, I love men too, so that wouldn’t work out too well if I was a guy!!

    • Neicy, I was going to say something similar to what you said, dang it! LOL!
But really, I love being a woman because I love the fact that I can wear the pants AND the dress and still look good.
I love that if I can’t put air in my tires, I can get some guy to do it for me happy
I love that men underestimate my strength, then are shocked that I can do what they can do
I love that when I am looking an absolute mess, hat on, no make up, that some guy is going to tell me that I look hot! ohhhh
I love that I can defend myself and look brave, even when I’m scared as he**!
I love that I can be with my sisters on Fab40 and know that regardless of how low I’m feeling, someone is concerned and is going to lift me up.
I love that I can say a woman is beautiful and not have everyone think that makes me gay (nothing against gay people)
I love my curves, even though there is about 20 pounds more of me to love! estatic

      . I can cry
      . I can nurse
. I can get by sometimes with a smile
. If I encounter a gentleman, my car door will be opened and my chair will be pulled.
. I can have more choices in wearing slacks or skirts, heels of different heights
. I can have choices in dangling earrings
. I have no need to shave daily on my face
. I can have my nail manicure with different colors and stickers
. I have motherly love and a more nurturing character
