    • Give her a chance. 15 years is a long time & her life might have completely changed in that time.

    • I’m a skeptic depending on the “crime“...it’s good you did a background check for safety reasons but try not to let that prevent you from enjoying yourself.

In the end it’s up to both of you how far you want the relationship to go.

    • I can understand your reservation and concern.  As a woman, I go by my gut.  Forgive me, I don’t know if guy has that instinct for he always think logic.

If the situation is reversed, say if I would date a guy that like that girl, I personally will shy away - not that I don’t want to give him a chance.

But since you have already gone on the first date, you would know if there is chemistry.  Go from there.

Have a great time and report if like.

    • I would give her a chance. It is very hard on a person who goes to jail and when they get out to really get a second chance in life. No one really wants to hire you with a record. If she was rehabilitated, then society should give her a second chance. Just be cautious with your feelings and let things take their course. Life is hard enough and I am sure for her it has been twice as hard. I know if it were me, I would certainly hope someone would give me a chance. Best of luck to you and keep us updated!
